KnoWEwell does not own, operate, authorize, or have any affiliation with knowewellroles.com. Individuals communicating through that domain are not authorized to recruit, interview, hire, or make employment offers on behalf of KnoWEwell.

The names listed above may be aliases or the names of people whose identities have been misused. Their inclusion here does not establish the actual identity of the individuals responsible.

How to Verify a KnoWEwell Employment Opportunity

Please take the following precautions before responding to anyone claiming to represent KnoWEwell:

• Visit the official KnoWEwell website directly at KnoWEwell.com rather than following a link provided in an unsolicited message.

• Confirm that the position appears on KnoWEwell’s official Careers page.

• Carefully inspect the sender’s full email address—not only the display name.

• Be suspicious of communications from knowewellroles.com, personal email services, or any domain that resembles but is not knowewell.com.

• Contact KnoWEwell through the contact information published on our official website if you are uncertain whether a recruiter or opportunity is legitimate.

A logo, company description, employee name, employment agreement, or professional-looking email does not prove that a communication is authentic. Scammers frequently copy information from legitimate company websites and professional profiles.

KnoWEwell Will Never Ask Applicants To:

• Pay an application fee, recruiting fee, training fee, equipment fee, or any other fee to obtain employment

• Purchase gift cards or cryptocurrency

• Deposit a check and return or transfer a portion of the funds

• Send money through a wire transfer, payment application, or cryptocurrency platform

• Purchase equipment from a designated vendor using funds provided by check

• Provide online banking credentials, passwords, verification codes, or credit card information

• Receive or forward packages or payments as part of a job assignment

• Provide highly sensitive financial or identity information before the applicant’s identity and the employment opportunity have been properly verified

Legitimate employers do not require applicants to pay to secure a job.

Warning Signs of a Fraudulent Job Offer

Exercise caution when:

• You receive an offer for a position for which you never applied

• An interview is conducted only by text message, chat, or an unfamiliar messaging application

• You are offered a job immediately without a meaningful interview

• The pay appears unusually high for the position or required experience

• You are pressured to respond immediately

• The recruiter avoids a telephone or video conversation

• The message contains inconsistent company information, unusual grammar, or spelling errors

• You are asked to provide personal information through an unfamiliar form or website

• The sender’s email domain is slightly different from knowewell.com

• You are sent a check to purchase equipment or instructed to return excess funds

What to Do If You Receive a Suspicious Communication

Do not reply, click links, open attachments, download files, deposit checks, or provide personal information.

1. Save the original email, text messages, voicemail, job posting, attachments, telephone numbers, and any payment instructions.

2. Take screenshots of the communications and the applicant profile or job listing.

3. Report the fraudulent job posting to the website, social media platform, or employment platform where it appeared.

4. Notify KnoWEwell through the official contact method published on KnoWEwell.com.

5. Report the incident to the Federal Trade Commission through its official fraud-reporting service.

6. Consider filing a complaint with the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center.

7. Block further communication from the sender.

When contacting KnoWEwell, please include the sender’s email address, telephone number, the website or platform where the position was advertised, the job title, and copies or screenshots of the communications. Do not include Social Security numbers, banking credentials, passwords, or other sensitive information.

If You Shared Personal or Financial Information

Act promptly.

• Contact your bank, credit card company, or payment provider immediately if you sent money or disclosed financial information.

• Ask whether a transaction can be stopped or reversed.

• Change any passwords you disclosed or reused, beginning with your email account and financial accounts.

• Enable multifactor authentication where available.

• Contact the three major credit bureaus to consider placing a fraud alert or credit freeze on your credit files.

• Visit the Federal Trade Commission’s official identity-theft resource for a personalized recovery plan.

• Report unauthorized account activity to the relevant institution and law-enforcement authorities.
